Typhoon-Lagoon-11Typhoon Lagoon’s Shark Reef will be closing next month, with its last day in operation scheduled for October 2. Shark Reef is a saltwater reef where guests can go snorkeling among fish, stingrays, and sharks. There is also an underwater viewing area as well.

Shark Reef was an opening day attraction for Typhoon Lagoon when the park opened in 1989. A new raft-style attraction, Miss Fortune Falls, was announced to be coming to the park in the spring.
