New Year’s Eve in Orlando 2015/16

Planning a big New Year’s Eve? Whether it’s a celebration in our world-famous theme parks, a shindig at our many entertainment complexes or a quaint gathering at a local hang out, there’s no better way to crank up your New Year’s Eve than in Orlando.

Walt Disney World Resort

Epcot – Guests can celebrate all night long at Epcot. DJs and live music around World Showcase bring guests to their feet with beats from around the globe. Two showings of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” fireworks spectacular at 6 p.m. and 11:40 p.m., followed by a countdown and pyrotechnic salute to the New Year will top off the celebration.

Magic Kingdom – Guests can get a head start on welcoming 2016 at Magic Kingdom as New Year’s Eve fireworks light up the sky on two nights instead of one. Magic Kingdom will present a jaw-dropping presentation of “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks on both Wednesday, Dec. 30, and Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11:50 p.m.

Hollywood Studios – Rock ‘n’ roll into the New Year with a brilliant fireworks spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show will be presented on Dec. 31 near the Hyperion Theater at midnight.

Bonus Tip: December 31, is also one of the most popular days to visit. So be sure to pick your park of choice and arrive early before the parks “closes” to additional guests.

Universal Orlando Resort

Celebrate the New Year at either or both of Universal Orlando’s theme parks – Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve festivities in the parks include party zones that will feature DJs, character appearances and fireworks at midnight. Admission to the theme parks on New Year’s Eve is the same as the standard gate price.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Universal CityWalk
The whole year’s been leading up to this: Universal CityWalk’s eye-popping, mind-blowing, jam-packed New Year’s celebration. Enjoy six unique party zones, each with their own signature drinks. Revel in six awesome CityWalk®clubs with live music and unlimited gourmet cuisine including prime rib, tenderloin and fresh seafood. And you can rock out on Orlando’s biggest outdoor dance floor.

ROCK-IN 2016! at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando
Enjoy specially prepared desserts and entertainment including: visits from Universal Orlando characters, the Magic Men, face painter and balloon artist, movies playing in the ballroom and a DJ rockin’ in the lobby. Then watch the countdown in Times Square New York City live via satellite with party favors and champagne toast to welcome in 2016!

New Year’s Eve at SeaWorld Orlando
Celebrate our connection to the sea, sea life and the world we share as we ring in the New Year, SeaWorld style. A spectacular musical celebration and bold fireworks display send a wave of welcome to the New Year ahead.

LEGOLAND Florida – Kid’s New Year’s Eve
Happy Kids’ New Year’s Eve at LEGOLAND Florida where the giant LEGO brick drops at a very kid-friendly midnight KST (Kid Standard Time) – otherwise known as 7 p.m. Other event elements include fireworks and a dance party DJ.

Pointe Orlando on International Drive 

Join Funky Monkey Bistro & Bar for the Party of the Year! New Years Eve 2015 hosted by Danielle Hunter and featuring the tallents of Chantel Reshae, Susan B. Whitney, David Freklz Hunter, Aysia Black and Many, Many More!

The Pub at Pointe Orlando. Enjoy a champagne toast and Guinness toast when the clock strikes 12.

Blue Martini! NYE 2016 Celebration will feature an open bar from 8pm – 10pm and live entertainment all night. Table packages available. Elegant attire enouraged.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will be having a New Year’s Eve Celebration presented by Dr. Phillips Charities starring Kristin Chenoweth with special guest Cheyenne Jackson. Chenoweth will ring in the New Year live onstage of the Walt Disney Theater.
