Orlando Sentinel reports that although National Roller Coaster Day may be over, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop celebrating the king of all thrill rides.
As I rode 10 of 13 coasters (darn you, Florida weather) at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Tuesday, I was equipped with a GoPro to document all the action.

The result is a collaboration of four of my favorites — SeaWorld’s Mako and Kraken andBusch Gardens‘ Montu and Kumba.
When it comes to stats, Mako is the king of the powerful foursome. SeaWorld’s newest coaster is the tallest, fastest and longest of the bunch, reaching a top speed of 73 mph (on that first drop), a max height of 200 feet (again, the drop) and traveling 4,760 feet.
That’s not to take anything away from the other three, which are all significantly older, with the eldest (Kumba) opening in 1993.
