I was in Walt Disney World recently for a quick visit.

And even though it was a super short visit, mostly due to the opening of the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, I HAD to head over to Disney Springs. But — and I know you totally saw this coming! — my first stop was Sprinkles!

I’ve made no secret that I’m a HUGE fan of Sprinkles. So it’s only natural that Sprinkles + Disney equals Dream Come True territory for me.

I love all of their treats — Cupcakes, Cookies, Ice Cream, you name it. And who can resist a Cupcake ATM for your After Hours Cupcake neeeeeeeds??

But today, I’m checking out their Seasonal Cupcake Flavors. And if they look good to you, hightail it over to Sprinkles and get ‘em before they’re gone!

(Also, I apologize in advance for all the upcoming Sprinkles posts here on DFB.)

Lemon Meringue Cupcake

Let’s kick off the party with the Lemon Meringue Cupcake.

This one has it all, kids: Marshmallow Icing and Lemon Cake on the outside…

…And inside, a beautiful Lemon Pie Filling tucked into the center. And let’s be clear here — it’s Lemon Pie Filling, not Lemon Curd. As you can see, the filling has a less firm texture, and is a little more “see-through” than the egg yolk-and-butter-rich lemon curd that I love. This one definitely puts you in mind of Lemon Meringue Pie, with that bright tangy flavor. And it’s amazing.

But whoa! — Check out the Graham Cracker Crust at the bottom! YESSS. There is a Graham. Cracker. Crust. At the bottom. Of this cupcake.

Because Sprinkles is brilliant. And they know THIS MUST BE.

How good was this? So good that it needs to skip straight from the “Seasonal” Menu to the “Regular” Menu IMO.

German Chocolate Cupcake

But I also tried another seasonal flavor, the German Chocolate Cupcake.

The Sprinkles crew took no liberties with this classic. It’s exactly what you’d expect: that yum Caramelly-sweet Frosting loaded with shredded Coconut and chopped Pecans. It crowns a Milk Chocolate Cake that’s light and moist.

Alas, there were no hidden pockets of goodness in this one. It’s a little bit of a shame, since everyone knows that the only reason you eat German Chocolate Cake is that killer frosting.

Still, if this is one of your favorites, you absolutely won’t be disappointed.

I loved both of these options — but I give the Lemon Meringue a slight edge — because Lemon. And you know I can’t resist lemony goodness.

Remember though — these beauties are Seasonal. No telling how much longer they’ll stick around, so be sure to get over to Disney Springs ASAP if you need either one of them to complete your life.
