When I was a young Padawan, I dreamed of visiting a galaxy far, far away one day. This dream became a reality when I visited Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. Here are three things that I wish I had known before going to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Before Going To Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Get Ready To Interact With All The Characters

Will You Answer When Called On?

Whether you’re seeking out a secret mission from the Resistance or want to chat with a bartender at Oga’s Cantina, you’ll find yourself transported to a galaxy far, far away. Don’t be alarmed when they call you out of the crowd or interact with you personally – I wish I knew that… talk about being startled… I was completely caught off guard. It’s not like The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter; in Galaxy’s Edge, the characters will often come up to you and expect an answer!

Before Going To Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Know Which Milk To Get So You're Not Disappointed

Choose Your Milk Wisely

The Milk at the Milk Stand is a sweet sherbet drink with two colors to choose from – blue or green. Blue milk is a knock-out with dragon fruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon flavors. The green milk is good with notes of citrus drink featuring mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom, but it doesn’t quite compare to the blue milk. I wish I knew this before I purchased the green milk BECAUSE it costs almost $10 per Milk.

Before Going To Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Know The Rise Of The Resistance Secrets

The Secrets Of Rise Of The Resistance

That’s right – this ride has many secrets that most people have no clue about! Firstly, I wish I knew about the initial room with all the stormtroopers lined up. Sometimes – not always, they’re real actors and not just mannequins. The first time, when I was trying to take a cute Instagram photo, a stormtrooper, whom I thought had a mannequin, began shooing me off and moving toward me. Needless to say – my adrenaline spiked from the shock! In addition, I wish I knew that to get the entire storyline and experience, waiting in the regular queue is actually best. Sometimes this can take hours, but the ride is broken up into three stages in the regular queue. From the start of queue 1 to queue 3, the ride is a whopping 18 minutes long! Keep that in mind before you purchase a lightning lane!
